I just planted some jalapeno peppers and some tomato plants 2 days ago and I want to add some good rich organic fertilizer to them. I looked some stuff up on the internet and mostly found stuff with chemicals in it. I want completely Organic and safe! No chemicals please! Any tips for some luscious peppers and tomatoes. This is my first attempt at growing stuff and I want to do a good job. Any suggestions?
We have 14 fruit trees and this year we have sprayed with organic spray. One pear tree (maybe 8 years old) has black leaves and we seem unable to stop the spread. Do we need to go to stronger?
I buy organic whenever it is available and the price is right. I’ve noticed that organic food is stronger tasting – for example, an organic apple is more “appley”, mushrooms are more mushroomy, even organic oatmeal tastes more oatmealy. The flavours are just much more intense than regular produce, and are even sometimes quite different (for example, organic apples seem to have a different taste than regular apple, as well as having a stronger flavour).
Does anyone know why?
I found it in an organic store and the sales agent said that if you put it over food and it turns clockwise then it’s organic. Counter clockwise then it’s non-organic. Is this true?
